This page explains what data Vertical Jump Test collects, how it is used, your choices, and how to reach us.

The calculator runs in your browser

The vertical jump test runs entirely on your device. The reach, jump height, age, sex, and sport you enter are used only to show your result on your own screen. Those numbers are never sent to a server and are never stored by us.

Analytics

We use a few privacy-friendly measurements to understand which pages are useful:

  • Cookieless site analytics. We count page views and visits with cookieless analytics that do not identify you and set no tracking cookies.
  • First-party visitor beacon. Our own anonymous beacon counts visits and which pages are viewed. It uses no cookies, no personal data, and no fingerprinting. The external site that referred you is reduced to a bare domain name, so no search terms or full URLs are ever recorded.
  • Google Analytics (optional). Google Analytics loads only if you allow it. Visitors in the EU, UK, and Switzerland are asked first with a banner, and it loads only if you accept. Where it does load, IP addresses are anonymized. No analytics data is sold or shared with advertisers.

Affiliate links

Some links to gear are affiliate links, including Amazon. As an Amazon Associate, we earn from qualifying purchases. When you click one, the destination retailer may record that the visit came from this site so any commission is credited correctly. We do not receive your name or payment details.

Advertising

This site may show ads from third-party networks in the future. If and when ads run, advertising partners may use cookies to show relevant ads, and visitors in the EU, UK, and Switzerland will see a consent choice (through Google's certified consent tool) before personalized ads or ad cookies are used. This section will be updated before any ads go live.

Cookies

The site itself does not require cookies to work. The only cookie-like storage we use without consent is a small anonymous identifier for counting unique visits, which contains no personal information. Optional Google Analytics and any future advertising may set their own cookies, subject to your consent where required.

Your rights

If you are in the EU, UK, Switzerland, or a region with similar laws, you have the right to access, correct, or delete any personal data we hold (in practice, only an email address if you joined the list), and to opt out of optional analytics. This site is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
